Pedagogy

A NATION IS BUILT IN ITS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The object of teaching a child is to enable him to act independently with confidence and unfold his capabilities to learn with interest.
Tests and examination are conducted in order to assess the progress of the child. Stress is laid on giving individual attention to each student for class room study and to complete home work assignment. Each section is of 20-25 students and efforts are made to provide enough stimuli and cultivation of mind and mere cramming of books for examination.

The focus is on enabling the child to develop self learning skills during class room teaching rather than compel a dependence on private tuitions.
Innovations are constantly introduced to make the teaching leaning process more effective and enjoyable.

CURRICULUM

Today, a man's worth is assessed by his achievement, commitment to work, his contribution to society & humanity at large for the perfection & excellence, Montfort Acdemany has designed a curriculum which provides the opportunities to develop to a full personality.

The curriculum has been framed keeping in view age group of children in each class and their mental level. Curriculum is interactive, lying emphasis on the development of humanism, character, honesty, and above all rationality.

The medium of instruction is English. Hindi is a compulsory subject and there is provision for teaching regional languages. The syllabi courses are designed to meet the requirement of Central Board of Secondary Education, as the school will be affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi.

For the all round development of the personality of child, counseling by the experts is a regular feature of the school. The teacher & experts examine & understand the needs of the individual child and frame strategies for the building of the academic, social moral values of the student. Due emphasis is laid to develop self confidence, selfesteem, positive re-enforcement to face frustration & disappointment.

TUTORIAL SYSTEM

Each teacher is a tutor of a group of 8-20 children. Therefore, pupils coming from the infant section will not be thrown into the deep end of the schools' academic system. With the help of the tutor they begin to learn to organise their own work and start making genuine choices of their own.

Progress will be carefully monitored at every stage & every detail is recorded. The tutor will keep an eye on his tutorial group & discuss the pupil progress & problems. The house-mistress & the tutors will act as a vital link in the school' system acting as a friend & advisor.
